Our client located in Van Nuys California is hiring a full-time Sr. Network Engineer to maintain company’s network and voice specification, implementation, and operations. Responsibilities

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for:

Multi-site network and voice specification, implementation, and operations.
Installation and oversight to meet standards and resolve issues.
Designing and troubleshooting of n-tier applications on Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN).
Coordinating of related activities with IT teams and vendors.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidate must have demonstrated experience supporting global networks, and data centers of least 250, preferably 500 servers.
Six plus years of progressively more responsible Information Systems experience.
At least four years of relevant network engineering experience with Cisco LAN switching and routing with 6500 series switches, and firewalls.
Expert proficiency in all aspects of network design, security, systems and services (including, but not limited to): IP segmentation, VLAN design, DHCP, DNS, WINS, firewall, DMZ and VPN security, and load balancers such as F5/BigIP.
Comprehensive verbal and written analytical, troubleshooting, problem solving, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. • Ability to work in a team environment.
A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent.

Preferred:

IPT experience in Cisco Call Manager, Unity and Unified Messaging, QoS.
Cisco certifications such as CCNP.
